Bearsted is a "senior" club.
This means we have the same status as Premier and Nationwide
clubs.
Our ground is at Honey Lane, Otham which is on the
south eastern side of Maidstone. Click here for map .
Our complex at Otham has three full size pitches, two
of which have full under pitch drainage systems.
The Club runs approximately 22 teams from under 7's to adults and we place a strong emphasis on youth development.
We believe the Club provides a "ladder of football
opportunity"
enabling youngsters to play through their various age
groups. Our hope is that players will continue to
graduate through this youth structure to play eventually
at top level in our first and reserve sides. Our older
youth sides play in the Kent Youth League which means
we compete against the youth teams from higher League
sides.
Our flagship first team play in the Premier Division
of the Vandanel Kent County Football League. This
is the leading amateur club in the County. Our Reserve
team play in Reserve Division one of that League.
Bearsted has a number of qualified FA coaches with
the attendant skills that brings to the Club.
Bearsted is a multicutural club, is against racism and
follows the child protection guidelines. The Club were
awarded FA Charter Status in 2005.
