There’s only one thing bad ‘bout summer football –
It coincides with holidays abroad.
At the apex of the season
Sure, it makes you lose all reason
To be swanning off to Malaga half-board.

There’s only one thing bad ‘bout summer holidays –
Getting the results from back at home.
The best Italian papers
Don’t report on The Bears capers
And it’s hardly ever touched upon in Rome.
